Sometime around
the late 70's I began playing drums while hanging around various
bands my dad played with, I would play when they would take
breaks. My high school band director named Roger Hayes was
probably the single greatest influence on my musical career, he
was just an awe-inspiring musician. After high school, I helped
form a band called Crystal Rain, we played mostly classic rock.
I left after a few years and that group eventually evolved into
a band called Monkey Finger. I have played every type of music
from gospel, country, blues, and even heavy metal, that wasn't
my thing. In 2002, my friend Billy asked if I wanted to sit in
with his band called Classic Waxx........stay tuned.
I would have to say
early RUSH with Neil Peart on drums. The late Jeff Porcaro from
Toto was also a great inspiration, he could set a groove like
nobody else.

Of course, I do like
to play Wipeout, my favorite is probably Devil With a Blue
Dress.
When not playing with the band, or working, what do you like
to do the best:
Staying home with my
wife & 2 girls is what keeps me relaxed, I guess you could say
my kids are my hobby. We ride bikes in the park a lot and play
basketball. I also enjoy watching any type of auto racing. Just
a good quiet time at home is where it's at for me.
